"Casting all your ______ upon him; for he careth for you."

This verse isn't in today's daily — no spoilers here.

Did you know?

Peter — the disciple who denied Jesus three times — wrote the New Testament's warmest letter about standing firm under fire. Restoration is the whole point.

'Casting all your care upon him' — the word means to throw something off yourself and onto another entirely. Fitting counsel from a man who dropped his nets on the shore of Galilee to follow.

Peter wrote from 'Babylon' — almost certainly code for Rome, where tradition says he was later crucified upside down, at his own request.

The letter calls believers 'strangers and pilgrims' — written to scattered exiles across five Roman provinces, and adopted by wanderers ever since.
